Beginnings…
As a storyteller, I seek to share stories. And while my told tales largely exist outside of what we commonly accept as reality, I have to acknowledge that my very own non-fiction tale is progressing alongside what I share.
So, if you’re interested in the writer behind the craft, you’ll find those experiences posted here. I can’t say what all I’ll share, because I simply don’t know. In my writing, I’m what you call a pantser, which means I figure out the story as I’m actively writing it. And I’ve come to discover that there’s a lot of crossover between this writing style and the way I live my life… Most things I just have to discover along the way, so that means you’ll have to too. But don’t fret.
Answers aren’t nearly as important as the journey to find them. And an answer without the journey is no answer at all.
Present Happenings:
This post was created to mark the beginning stages of establishing Sagaheim. There is presently a great many things to do. I’ve went through several of Squarespace’s menues and have established a rough layout. Later, I’ll go back through the individual pages and work on adding in the specific details.
Over on Medium.com, I’ve recently joined the Illumination publication and have submitted to join The Writing Cooperative. I plan to offload some of my philosophy related topics on Illumination, while submitting writing related articles on the other.
I’ve also just applied for a side hustle and interview on Monday. Technically, some would probably consider my writing to be the side hustle considering that the work will be full time. But this wouldn’t be the first case I’ve disagreed with someone about something.
Sharing stories through writing is who I am, and this side hustle is just something I have to do in order to survive being myself. :)
18 Nov 2023. Book signing!
I’ll be at Barnes & Noble in Tupelo, MS. Of course, no one knows of my existence, so I’ll likely have an ambiance of cricket sounds around me. But it’s still exciting and I truly hope to do this more in the future! I hope to have a lot of this site set up by then, so that I can share its location.
I have more minor things going on, but nothing too terribly exciting. I’ll be sure to share updates when they’re relevant.
